After the NetEase company announced its most popular game to date called Identity V, many users were struck by its peculiar theme that it contains, since despite being shown as just another game and even considered suitable for children, the The truth is that after all this, a whole story full of mystery and terror unfolds.

The story begins with a detective named Orpheus who is sent to an abandoned mansion to find the daughter of the family who had requested his help, upon entering the mansion everything is very confusing for Orpheus since he thinks he recognizes the mansion and that is that before From being a private detective he dedicated himself to writing novels, however from one moment to another Orpheus loses his memory forgetting a large part of his life, it is here that Orpheus decides to investigate a little more the mansion where things get worse and worse for him since something is watching him from the shadows, chasing him even in his dreams but this does not stop him and he continues exploring the mansion until he finds some belongings of a person who was living inside the mansion for a while, among those things he finds a diary where he recounts how that person felt when he was in there and it is that the mansion hid something very disturbing inside its walls, it is discovered that inside the mansion there was a game organized by the owner of the mansion, the game consisted of placing 4 survivors and 1 hunter, inside a completely uninhabited place and in very bad condition, in this place there are several machines which only 5 of them must be decoded by the survivors and they will be able to escape, however during the process they will be chased by a hunter who has nothing good in store for them. All the participants are there for a specific objective, to win to obtain what they yearn for most, fame, money or they were simply lured with deception, which is why we cannot define which of the two sides is good and bad.

Within the game, each of its characters, both survivors and hunters, has a story behind it that is mostly sad or disappointing, but they all agree on one thing, and that is how they found out about the existence of this mansion, and it was the same way in that detective Orpheus was sent to it, through a mysterious letter where they were promised to obtain what they were looking for.
